I design and own scalable analytics foundations that turn raw data into trusted, decision-ready insights. Fifteen years spent on the same class of foundational problems: metric governance, semantic layers, platform cost and reliability. I'm less interested in trends and buzzwords than in systems that still work two years later.
tableau-cloud-audit — an open-source collector that reads a Tableau Cloud site through its official APIs and lands the entire estate in one DuckDB file, so licence waste, permission exposure and zombie content become SQL questions instead of screenshots.
It runs on your machine with your own revocable token. User identities are pseudonymised before anything is written to disk, enforced by a scrub gate rather than by convention, and the only artifact meant to leave your machine physically lacks the identity vault. No telemetry, no remote access, nothing phoned home — the parts you'd want to audit before trusting it with an admin token are documented and reviewable in a single file.
