After a recent upgrade to homeassistant those of us with shark robots that don't support rooms have been getting crashes in this code. This fixes it for me at least. home-assistant/core#116670

@benaclejames keeping with the HA contribution guidelines, please don’t ping for reviews. This is on my radar and I’m aware of the impact (and have been aware of both since they came up respectively), but I haven’t had time to review yet. I apologize for the inconvenience. Note that I don't have a vacuum with room support to test the opposite case. Probably want to test it with one before merging it.
