🎯 What: Added missing unit tests for parse_kicad_xml_bom in scripts/fetch_sourcing_bom.py.
📊 Coverage: The tests now cover:

  • Happy path (valid KiCad BOM extraction)
  • Missing file handling
  • Missing fields or attributes (empty MPN/DigiKey)
  • Edge cases (whitespace-padded values)
Result: Test coverage and reliability of BOM parsing have significantly improved.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 14759697608162567909 started by @aman-katyal

Implemented comprehensive unit tests covering the `parse_kicad_xml_bom` function in `scripts/fetch_sourcing_bom.py`.

Testing scenarios added:
- Happy path: Valid KiCad XML BOM files extraction
- Missing file: Handling non-existent file paths
- Missing fields: Resilience against missing 'fields', 'MPN', or 'DigiKey' values
- Edge cases: Correct stripping of whitespace-padded part numbers
