SCP-6924 (?)
SCP-6924 refers to an unexplained phenomenon affecting two villages in Poland, Mięsiny and Sarnowo, where all residents born there experience significantly better health and have an average lifespan of 100.5 years. The Foundation is actively suppressing information about this anomaly, spreading rumors that reports of strange occurrences are just urban legends, and keeping personnel stationed nearby in case of incidents. The connection between the villagers' reported Catholic faith and the anomaly is currently being investigated.
Moon tree (?)
The article describes "Moon trees" as trees grown from seeds that have traveled into orbit around the Moon. The initial program involved approximately 500 seeds from five different tree species (loblolly pine, sycamore, sweetgum, redwood, and Douglas fir) taken aboard the Apollo 14 mission in 1971 by Command Module Pilot Stuart Roosa, at the suggestion of the United States Forest Service chief. After their return, nearly all seeds successfully germinated, and about 420 seedlings were distributed across the United States and other countries in 1975 and 1976, often as part of the nation's bicentennial celebration, with no discernible difference found between them and Earth-bound control trees over decades. A renewed "Moon tree" program by NASA carried 1,000 seeds on the Artemis I mission in 2022, with distribution beginning in 2024. Efforts led by NASA employee Dave Williams since 1996, and more recently by the Moon Tree Foundation (run by Roosa's daughter), have aimed to locate and document these scattered trees, some of which are now producing their own "second-generation" seeds for new plantings.
