Bug reports, feature requests, and questions for Muqun — the mobile companion app for Herdr.
Muqun itself is closed source, so this repository is where its issue tracker lives. The gateway it talks to, herdr-gateway, is open source and has its own tracker.
Muqun keeps your Herdr session with you when you step away from your desk. Pair your phone with the Herdr Gateway running on your machine, and you can:
- Watch terminal panes live, with full colour and Unicode.
- Read and reply to coding agents while they work.
- Get a push notification the moment an agent is blocked or finishes.
- Send keys, run quick actions, and manage workspaces, tabs, and panes.
Everything travels straight from your phone to your own machine. There is no Muqun account, no relay server, and no telemetry.
Muqun is the pinyin for 牧群 (mù qún), Chinese for "a herd". It grew out of the name Herdr — Herdr tends the flock, and Muqun is the flock you carry with you.

Gateway tokens grant full control of the machine running Herdr, so treat one like an SSH private key. Never paste a token, a pairing QR code, or the contents of pairing.json into an issue.
A few things make a report much easier to act on:
- Muqun version and build — Settings → About.
- Gateway version —
herdr-gateway status, or the server screen in the app. - Device and OS version.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
- Screenshots or a screen recording, if the problem is visual.
Please scrub tokens, hostnames, and anything else private from screenshots and logs before posting.
