The local rainfall predictor is a web application that can predict rainfall up to 2 hours in advance by taking images of the sky.
The mobile application was developed as a practical implementation of the research paper titled "Hyperlocal Imminent Rainfall Prediction Using Ground-based Sky Imagery and Deep Learning". The app allows for easy (including offline) access to our Rainpred model, and has a built-in camera.
Instructions for usage can be found in the [i] icon at the top-right corner of the application.
