Good spot; yes, they must already be a TSC member. Tightened it up with "The TSC elects a Chair from among its own voting members"
The Technical Charter was amended in July 2026. Add the new PDF and repoint the organization, TSC and working group pages at it, keeping the 2018 charter listed as superseded. Update the TSC rules where the amended charter contradicts them: * voting members are three elected members plus the Infrastructure Lead * members employed by related companies share a single vote, replacing the previous limit of two members per organization * TSC meetings are open to the public * add the TSC Chair role, along with the two-thirds thresholds for replacing the Chair and for amending the charter * unresolved votes may be referred to the LF Projects Series Manager Promote the Infra WG section to the Infrastructure Committee as defined in section 3 of the charter, covering its responsibilities, the six month inactivity rule and the two year term of the Infrastructure Lead. The current TSC roster is left unchanged, as the reduced composition only takes effect at the next election. Signed-off-by: Ben Copeland <ben.copeland@linaro.org>
