About Me

I’m Alessandro, I have 25+ years of experience in sound engineering and sound design, with a background in live sound, studio production, audio networking, and technical problem-solving under pressure.

I’m currently studying at 42 School, moving into software development while keeping the same mindset that shaped my audio career: precision, systematic thinking and continuous learning.

What I Bring

  • 25+ years in sound engineering and sound design.
  • Live mixing, studio work, recording, and post-production.
  • Sound design for hardware and software.
  • Experience across multiple DAWs and production platforms.
  • Dante-based audio workflows and networked systems.
  • Wireless microphone management, frequency coordination, and RF monitoring.
  • Fast troubleshooting in high-pressure environments.

Career Transition

I’m currently transitioning from audio engineering toward software development. The goal is to build on the technical depth I already have and apply it to development, automation, tools, and systems work.

My audio background taught me how to:

  • Think in workflows and signal chains.
  • Debug complex systems quickly.
  • Work with hardware, software, and networks together.
  • Stay calm when timing and reliability are critical.

What I’ve Done So Far

  • Built a long career in sound engineering and sound design.
  • Worked across live sound, studio audio, and technical audio workflows.
  • Learned to combine creative decisions with technical precision.
  • Started a new path in software through 42 School.

Interests

  • System programming.
  • Audio-related software tools.
  • Automation and workflow optimization.
  • Embedded or real-time thinking.
  • Networking and infrastructure.
  • Open-source collaboration.

Goals

  • Become a strong developer with a practical, systems-level mindset.
  • Use my audio background to solve technical problems in software and media.
  • Keep building projects that connect sound, code, and infrastructure.
