Fluctuation Membrane Core (FM-core) defines the minimal invariant condition under which fluctuation becomes image through membrane passage.
It does not define cognition, identity, behavior, embodiment, or relational topology.
It describes only the smallest pre-entity structural truth by which self, world, meaning, and action may appear as differential images.
This repository is the uppermost invariant root of the Field axis and must remain substrate-neutral, implementation-neutral, and non-relational.
Root fluctuation forms image when it passes through a variable membrane.

FM-core records the minimal field-level invariant required for imageability.
It remains:
- pre-entity
- pre-embodiment
- pre-experiential
- pre-relational
No downstream axis may overwrite this invariant root.
The minimal structure contains only two primitives.
Fluctuation refers to:
- root instability
- micro-difference
- phase deviation seed
- pre-semantic displacement
- unresolved variation
It is the smallest movable difference prior to meaning.
Membrane is the boundary surface through which fluctuation becomes image.
It functions as:
- self boundary
- perceptual surface
- internal / external separator
- transform surface from difference to observable image
Without membrane, fluctuation does not stabilize into image contour.
Fluctuation passing through membrane forms the image of self, world, meaning, and action.
This is the irreducible invariant proposition of FM-core.
FM-core defines only:
- fluctuation
- membrane
- image formation by passage
- invariant membrane failure modes
It does not define:
- cognition
- consciousness
- embodiment retention
- experiential loops
- relational continuity
- implementation runtime
