Summary

  • migrate the classifier from deprecated google-generativeai to supported google-genai 2.14.0
  • update all Python dependencies to current compatible stable releases
  • add exact direct pins plus a universal, hash-locked transitive requirements file
  • add offline classifier contract tests and a required Python CI job
  • enable weekly grouped Dependabot updates for the Python dependency input

Validation

  • Python 3.11 and 3.12 installs with --require-hashes
  • pip check on Python 3.11 and 3.12
  • 3 offline classifier tests
  • pip-audit: 0 known vulnerabilities
  • pnpm audit: 0 known vulnerabilities
  • formatting and ESLint
  • Svelte check
  • 271 unit tests
  • production build
  • 167 desktop/mobile Playwright tests

Compatibility

All selected versions are stable. TypeScript 7 is intentionally deferred because it is not yet compatible with the repository's Svelte and typescript-eslint checks.
