Crafting Digital History

This public repository is my notebook for Crafting Digital History (HIST3814o), a third-year history course offered at Carleton University. It will contain the results of the course's exercises and my fail logs as I encounter issues while learning new ways to craft digital history.

Modules

Results, notes, and fail logs for each module of the course will be self contained in their own folder (Getting Started, Module 1, Module 2, etc.).

  1. Getting Started
  2. Module 1
  3. Module 2
  4. Module 3
  5. Module 4
  6. Module 5

Final Project

For my final project I decided to make use of the exercises from Module 2 and transcribe the war diaries into an XML + XSLT format to display them in plaintext with markup.
