Industrial device data acquisition SDK with a DI-based runtime facade, communication channels, protocol parsers, templates, and demo tooling. The currently verified paths focus on Modbus RTU/TCP, HTTP/MQTT, and custom protocol scenarios; other protocol claims should be evaluated against the maturity notes in the docs.
IIoTDataCollector, AddVktunIoTConnector, AddVktunHttpChannel, and AddVktunMqttChannel have build/test coverage.
TCP / UDP / tunnel channels
Verified loopback
TCP, UDP, TcpOverUdp, and UdpOverTcp have factory mappings and loopback send/receive coverage; real device validation is still required.
Serial channel
Limited usable
Factory mapping exists, but the current driver is Windows-only and still needs hardware/OS validation.
CAN / 4G / NB-IoT transports
Limited usable
Factory mappings, endpoint validation, and loopback send/receive tests are present. CanChannel preserves framed CAN payload boundaries over a TCP bridge; FourG/NbIoT use IP-backed wireless channels and still require modem/device validation.
HTTP / MQTT channels
Verified for SDK integration
HTTP has injected-client request/response tests; MQTT has in-memory/local-broker messaging tests and DI coverage. Production still depends on environment health checks.
Modbus RTU / TCP
Verified
Parser, packing, template compatibility, and regression tests are present.
Custom protocol
Limited usable
JSON-driven parser coverage exists; device-specific field validation still depends on real sample frames.

Parser and collect path use specialized read-command construction; generic command packing remains limited.

Parser and interrogation command paths exist, but command modeling remains limited for full ASDU control scenarios.
OPC UA / BACnet / CANopen

Parsers are registered by explicit aliases with ParserStatus.Experimental; they share ProtocolType.Custom internally but are not the default ProtocolType.Custom parser.
Azure / AWS cloud connectors

Explicit DI registrations are available for targeted integration, but they are not part of the default AddVktunIoTConnector runtime path.
DeviceMock
Development only
Covers development/regression scenarios such as Modbus TCP and Siemens S7 mock paths; not a production gateway service.
The SDK includes a WPF client workbench for protocol debugging and demo scenarios.
Current Workbench Scope
Verified paths: Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Siemens S7, and serial debugging.
Demo-level pages: Mitsubishi and Omron pages exist in the client, but they are not covered by the current DeviceMock regression loop or documented as production-ready.
