This app includes over 1600 vegan plant based recipes, with the option to add your own! Search recipes by name, or by the ingredients you have on hand! Favorite and rate recipes! (favorites can be toggled by the "Favorite" button on the Recipes page.) Filter recipes by type, dietary restrictions, or sort A-Z, Z-A, by prep time, by cook time, or highest rated.
Click into a recipe card to have it display the recipe in its entirety. There, you can add it to a meal plan week, rate it, favorite it, or comment on it at the bottom. You can adjust the serving size as well.
Once a recipe has been added, it will show up on the meal plan page. Here, you can also adjust the serving size, or if you would like to change it to a different day, simply drag and drop it to the new day you want it to be eaten on.
The ingrdients will also automatically be added to the Grocery List page as well. The ingredients can be toggled to be organized in two different ways, first by category (produce, fresh herbs, spices/seasonings, grains/bread, other, etc.). The other way is by recipe. So no matter what your shopping patterns are, you should not have to do multiple laps in a grocery store!
In your account settings, you can see your email, when you joined, a list of your ratings and comments, the ability to change your password, a log-out button, and a report bug button, that will allow you to send bug reports directly to the support team (Me).
There is also a button do delete your account, which results in PERMENANT ERASURE OF ALL YOUR DATA (except recipes you have added to the recipe bank).
Updates should trigger a notification within the app to update, however old builds will still run.
The app caches recipes and ratings in your browser the first time they load. If you reopen the app without internet, the cached data is used so browsing still works. Any ratings or comments you leave while offline are queued locally and synced automatically the next time you have connectivity. If you create mealplans offline, they will show while offline and update when back online.
Picture capability will be added so usrs can see the finished recipes and what they look like. Will hopefully have community engagement so the photos come from real people making the recipes!
Payment portal for people to sign up for the app and so it can be displayed on the google and apple app stores. (this feature has been added, however we sare still beta testing so it is not active.)
