…oard Slug /populace -> /microcosm with two-era backward-compat redirects (bare and mounted), legacy API rewrites for /api/populace_variable and /api/populace/*, agent/command defs renamed. Protected surfaces unchanged: HF dataset ids (policyengine/populace-*), release/build ids, POPULACE_* env names, ledger.* schema ids and ledger-raw/-derived buckets. tsc + next build green. Executes Max's rename order (2026-08-07). Pairs with PolicyEngine/microcosm.institute#47 (already live), which redirects microcosm.institute/dashboard → /calibration/dashboard/microcosm — merging this closes the interim 404 on the renamed slug.
Note for the proactive-diagnostics-101 branch owner: rebase over this once merged — mechanical rename, conflicts should be textual only.
