I am a backend-focused software developer passionate about building scalable distributed systems, high-performance APIs, and event-driven architectures.
Currently working on enterprise fintech software, developing backend services and integrations while expanding my expertise in modern Java technologies such as Quarkus, Apache Kafka, and cloud-native microservices.
My personal project, Merkantil, is a simulated stock-trading platform featuring real-time market data, WebSocket streaming, session-based authentication (email verification, 2FA, Google OAuth), Redis-backed rate limiting, Flyway database migrations, and PostgreSQL. It serves as a playground for exploring trading systems, financial software architecture, and scalable backend design.
