Implements versioned configuration selection and the nested
calculation/outputmodel for v7.0, including version-aware validation for--override-configand cache inputs.The follow-on migration and switch cleanup issues will stack above this PR.
Validation: Release build, complete test suite, formatting verification, and regenerated documentation/schema checks.
