Hi I am Natalie 🌻

Software Engineer

My journey into software engineering began in 2023, after I decided to leave a career in Social Work behind. While I valued that experience, I realized my true passion lay in technology - not just because writing good code is a valuable skill, but because it empowers you to turn ideas into real products and solutions.

That realization led me to Berlin, where I joined 42 Berlin, a highly selective engineering school built around self-directed, peer-to-peer learning. Over the past two and a half years, I've built a strong foundation in computer science, from low-level programming, pointers, and memory management to Git, Docker, and modern web development.

When I started, I didn't even know how to open a terminal. Today, I have graduated from 42 Berlin - I write clean, maintainable code and enjoy solving complex problems. Learning software engineering through self-study, hands-on projects, and collaboration with peers taught me not only how to program, but also how to learn independently and think critically.

I love software engineering because it combines creativity with logical thinking, and I'm excited to keep growing as a developer while contributing to projects that make a meaningful impact.

Currently looking for a Junior Software Engineer position.
