XAMAuxData.jl contains functionality to parse the auxiliary data fields in the BAM and SAM formats. The formats GFA and PAF share the mini-format of the SAM auxiliary fields, and can therefore share code by using this package.
This pacakge is intended to be used by other packages in the BioJulia ecosystem.
