Software should not become inaccessible simply because development has stopped.

This organization preserves and promotes valuable open source projects by providing portable AppImage packages for modern Linux distributions. Our goal is to make useful software easy to discover, install, and continue using, even years after the original project becomes inactive.

We prioritize projects that are stable, practical, and still valuable to their users.

A portable AppImage package for MidiEditor (based on original author @markusschwenk), a capable MIDI editor whose original development ended several years ago. The package allows the application to run on modern Linux systems without requiring users to build it themselves.

A portable AppImage package and actively maintained Linux packaging fork of wxHexEditor (based on original author @EUA), a lightweight hex editor whose upstream development has largely become inactive. This fork modernizes the Linux build and release process by providing reproducible Rocky Linux 8 based AppImage builds, automated GitHub Actions workflows, and packaging improvements that make the application easier to build and use on current Linux distributions.

Although the original project is known to have unresolved file-saving issues, it remains a useful tool for inspecting binary data. This fork focuses on preserving that capability while keeping the software readily available for modern systems.
