In our joint photometry fitting framework, we currently assume perfect knowledge of the planet's orbit (i.e. we know at what point in the orbit we can set brightness=1). In the future, we should fit for this scale factor (which will be proportional to geometric albedo/radius^2) jointly with orbital parameters. We can marginalize over it analytically.
