Bug Report: Change administrator password does not work/FISH-13779

Brief Summary

Changing the admin password via the admin console on Payara throws an error immediately when opening the change password view.

Error: "No Such Realm: null"

Admin password cannot be changed via admin console.

Payara Version 7.2026.5

Expected Outcome

No error.

Admin change password in admin console works without error and admin password can be changed.

Current Outcome

Error: "No Such Realm: null"

Admin password cannot be changed via admin console.

Reproducer

• Payara from docker hub for docker images
• Payara zip for windows

Perhaps related, if I try to change admin pw commandline, I get:

CLI198: The admin realm is not a file based realm.The admin password cannot be changed locally.
