Use .EIT file data from EIDORS

Hi,

Is there a way/function in PyEIT to extract data from .eit files? I want to use the available data from EIDROS but can't find a way to extract them (I don't want to install Matlab and use EIDORS on Matlab).

I have a similar project, where i am trying to visualise EIT of the lungs. Currently, I have .eit file data of the chest with instead of 1 ring of 16 electrodes, I am using 2 rings of 16 electrodes. What I want to ask is, if its possible to take .eit data files that have measurements from 32 electrodes and plot the reconstruction?

It is possible to extract the measurements of 2 rings of 32 electrodes, but currently you may need to implement the 3D reconstruction algorithm (not available yet).

not yet u say.. could we be seeing this as a possibility in the future and working with 64 electrodes?

Sure, we could create a PR on this. I plan to add some 3D and EIDORS features, but I may not have too much time on EIT recently.
