Too much information about deleted books is displayed

Looking at the above ZIM file I see two files that should have been gone for a few days already:

• if they're still displayed then they haven't been deleted;
• if the have not been deleted why would they be marked as such?

My view here is that only books that can be acted up (=moved or deleted) should be displayed, otherwise it is simply confusing.

I agree about the confusion.

It is however sometimes helpful to have access to these deleted books information, hence the fact we keep them in DB.

It is important to note that we have deleted books and "to be deleted" books (like the second in your screenshot), i.e. books which are in their "grace period" before final deletion (we keep them for 24h should we realize this was a bad move).

I feel like we should indeed:

• have a filter in inbox view + books view to filter deleted and/or to_be_deleted books ; with a default where deleted and to_be_deleted books are hidden by default
• have a checkbox in title details to show/hide deleted and to_be_deleted books ; or a dropdown allowing to select which book status we wanna display

Alternative propositions:

• instead of only a badge color, change the whole book background color to more easily differentiate books.
• an important part of the problem is maybe that deleted book have a red badge which tend to attract the eye to these books which are in fact mostly not relevant anymore at all ; same problem in fact occurs for issues: we should probably display book issues in the card only when book is in quarantine or staging ; in other situation the fact that book had issues is not that relevant anymore and we can keep that information for book details

If they're deleted they should not be shown by default. The color is not much of an issue IMHO.

OK, then we should start by implementing my initial proposition in #420 (comment) and we'll see if it works well or not.
