Curious about assembly: done yourself?

Hi,

I was curious about how you do the assembly of the various SMT components. Do you do it yourself or do you get PCB manufacturer to do it? Do you have any recommendations?

I've been using JLCPCB for my recent projects and its been pretty good so far.

Basically you just pick from their parts library: https://jlcpcb.com/parts

And export a BOM with the LCSC part number for each component.

Thanks a lot. I've been looking at JLCPCB too. Do you design in kicad or use their easyeda?

I do my designs in KiCAD.
