New tab local file

Is there a way to for a new tab open local filepath? I had to do edit some configs in firefox for that, but in floorp its a about:config setting.

Do you mean where the newtab page itself points to a local file? Or doing something like browser.tabs.create({ url: "/local/file" })?

glide doesn't support this right now, but we definitely should!

In the next version you will be able to set glide.o.newtab_url to whatever you'd like :)

glide.o.newtab_url = "file:///path/to/my/newtab/page.html";
