WebAuthn Support

This browser is great, but unfortunately in my work we require the use of passkeys and SSO via WebAuthn box (see screenshot for firefox). This is a blocker to daily driving this browser.

Is there a roadmap to provide WebAUthn support? Is it known that this is not currently supported? Thank you!

Unfortunately this is a restriction on Apples end, I need to fill out a form for them to allow WebAuthn to work.

I'll get it sent off later today, but it may be weeks until they respond. There's also a chance they reject it, but lets hope they don't.

Huh that is surprising, I just tried rebuilding with all but security.webauthn.enable_macos_passkeys reverted and it appeared to work. Then flipping security.webauthn.enable_macos_passkeys to true in about:config also appears to not crash somehow... no idea what changed since my original fix.

Would you mind double checking the signed DMG in https://github.com/glide-browser/glide/actions/runs/18464926029/artifacts/4254680708 works? I won't have access to a passkey for a couple weeks.

I deleted /Applications/Glide.app, ~/Library/Application Support/glide/ and ~/Library/Caches/glide (to reset any settings), installed the dmg, and authenticated at webauthn.io successfully. Safe to say it works!

I also have some good news, Apple accepted my entitlement request :)

I've published 0.1.53a, which includes this fix! All webauthn prefs have been reverted to the Firefox defaults.
