Device: Rooted Samsung S8, permanently HDMI-connected TV.
I set up Tasker Profile > State > SecondScreen plugin, ticked the Revert option to run a task when TV goes to standby.
Issue: Revert does nothing. Task only activates when TV powers on; no trigger fires when TV enters sleep/standby, even with Revert enabled.
My goal: Automatically turn off the phone screen when TV shuts down, since the wired HDMI link keeps the phone display active all night otherwise.
Feature request backup: If state inversion is hard to fix, add a status notification from SecondScreen when the connected TV enters standby, so I can use Tasker’s notification event trigger to run my screen-off task.
Please resolve the Revert toggle logic for the Tasker plugin state context. Thanks!
