Animate cursor overlay bullet to null

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a thought.
2. Swipe (→) or hit Escape to set the cursor to null.

Current Behavior

The cursor overlay bullet (larger gray circle) disappears instantly.

Expected Behavior

The cursor overlay bullet should fade out.
