Bullet color incorrectly changes to default when colored thought is empty

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create thought hello.
2. Set the color to red.
3. Select all text in the thought.
4. Hit Backspace/Delete on the keyboard to delete the text.
5. Type a.

Current Behavior

When the text is deleted, the bullet color changes to the default, even though the text color is preserved when the user starts typing again.

Expected Behavior

When the text is deleted and the cursor does not move, the bullet color should not change. Only change the bullet cursor back to the default if the cursor moves away from the thought while it is empty.

Note how this differs from the following behavior, which is correct on main and should be preserved.

Steps to Reproduce

5. Hit Enter to create a new thought.
6. Move the cursor back to the first thought and start typing.
