Where is the codebase?

There’s no visible codebase, but it claims to be open-source. For a security application that claims to be open-source but doesn’t have a visible codebase, it’s a red flag. Please make the codebase visible on the repository. Thank you.

Thanks for opening this issue, you were absolutely right to do so.

The source code is now fully published and visible in this repository.

To be honest, the work to get it published was already in progress when you posted this, and feedback like yours helped me prioritize finishing it properly.

A bit of context that might help understand why it took time: CacheGuard is not an app that runs on top of an existing Linux distribution. It is itself a fully custom operating system built from scratch, derived from LFS (Linux From Scratch). Some of the build scripts work directly at the disk and partition level, so publishing them carelessly could have caused real damage to someone running them on the wrong machine. I wanted to make sure everything was safe and understandable before pushing it publicly.

What is now visible is the result of more than 20 years of work, covering everything from the OS base to the GUI, the CLI, the configurator, the init scripts and the build system. It is all there now, have a look and feel free to open new issues if anything raises questions.
