800ms+ icon rendering

I've noticed for some time now, maybe six months, that Albert had become noticeably laggy when responding to user input. I wasn't sure what was causing it but happened to be watching the logs today while trying out a Python plugin and saw some entries that seemed to be the possible cause:

The 800+ms one repeats semi-frequently when I've not used Albert for a minute or two. That is, if I launch albert a few times in a row, I only see the lag on the first launch + type. But, if I wait a couple minutes, the lag is back on first launch.

Albert version 34.0.10.

Are these supported emojis? i get like 50ms for emojies that are not supported like this one

I don't know really. You are seeing in the logs what I see. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Is there something I can do specifically to help troubleshoot this?

FWIW, I'd be happy to just see icon rendering to have some hard limit like 15ms (if that's even possible). I'd much rather not see an icon than wait seconds for albert to become responsive after launching.

i let llms translate the url: comp:?src1=grapheme:?grapheme=🧩&src2=grapheme:?grapheme=✅&size1=1&size2=0.5. this is the plugins query handler icon. on my system rendering this icon is rather acceptable slow:

Is this still a problem at all? which qt version and which albert version are you using?
