I've noticed for some time now, maybe six months, that Albert had become noticeably laggy when responding to user input. I wasn't sure what was causing it but happened to be watching the logs today while trying out a Python plugin and saw some entries that seemed to be the possible cause:

The 800+ms one repeats semi-frequently when I've not used Albert for a minute or two. That is, if I launch albert a few times in a row, I only see the lag on the first launch + type. But, if I wait a couple minutes, the lag is back on first launch.

The 800+ms one repeats semi-frequently when I've not used Albert for a minute or two. That is, if I launch albert a few times in a row, I only see the lag on the first launch + type. But, if I wait a couple minutes, the lag is back on first launch.
