This is mainly moot as the "experimental design" has basically become the default and its green check-in bar no longer shows values such as distance. This info has completely moved to the actual check-in. What remains is the amount of points you receive and and info about other travellers. This message can't be accidentally tapped away and your co-travellers are now also permanently shown in your check-in. Closed as outdated. |

Currently, once you check into a journey a little status message is shown which displays that you've successfully checked in, what distance you'll be travelling and how many points you'll get for that. Since that's "usually" everything that is contained within that message, I (and probably a lot of other users as well) quickly tap on to the screen to close it and move on. It is at this point though that you realise that just this one time the message said something else as well, e.g. a warning that you checked in too early or too late or, rather more importantly, that userX and userY are also in that connection. Since you tapped the screen however, the message is gone and retrieving it is quite laborious. If you really wanted to read it again, you'd have to go to all the trouble of deleting the journey, select your departure station, find your train, pick your destination and check in again - which is obviously quite a faff.
Since active journeys already have a "context menu" (the three dots) with which you can either share, edit or delete your status, I propose a fourth entry "show status message" (or something like that) which prompts that message to pop up again.

It's just an idea, but I do think TRWL would benefit from that addition.
Something like this:
