Safebox v0.18 — Protocol.Speech and Enhanced Protocol.Transcription
Two new capabilities added to Safebox:
- Text-to-Speech (TTS) via
POST /v1/speech— Generate audio from text - Enhanced Transcription via existing
POST /v1/transcribe— Better ASR with VibeVoice-ASR
Models:
- VibeVoice-1.5B (TTS) — 90-minute multi-speaker synthesis, English + Chinese
- VibeVoice-Realtime-0.5B (TTS) — Streaming single-speaker, English-only
- VibeVoice-ASR-7B (Transcription) — 60-minute single-pass with diarization, 50+ languages
All MIT licensed, all run on-premise, all maintain Safebox's zero-data-exfiltration guarantee.
