Feature or Bug: Create Entry cancel does not clear title ...

If you start with an entry and decide to cancel it. It is still cached in the background. As a result, if I create a new one afterward it will display my old inputs

This is actually a feature that we've had for a while. Reason being that a user might spend a lot of time on creating a log entry, and accidentally refresh or go back in history so we want to perserve the state until submit. However I do see an argument for clearing it on cancel since it's very explicit "cancel". However, I also do see a potential problem where they might mis-click. I feel like that scenario is more likely to be a nuisance than it being cached. What do you think @georgweiss

This feature was requested precisely for the reason you mention @maxfrederiksen-ess. Not sure if input is saved if user chooses to close browser tab or browser, but this is clearly a kind of auto-save.

Agree that an explicit "cancel" is a way for the user to dismiss whatever has been edited, so I would support that.

A auto-save seems like a good option and i would keep it as default.
Since some of our users complained about it in the testing phase. Is there an option to disable this feature?

Yes if Cancel clears it it would be fine for me

I would maybe consider a confirmation dialog like most applications implement when about to wipe user input.
