Installation error on macOS: type annotations needed for `Box<_>`

I am getting the following error message when trying to install Omikuji from the Github repository under macOS 14.7 on an Apple silicon Mac:

Install command:
pip install git+https://github.com/tomtung/omikuji.git -v

Could you advise how to fix it?

A fix to this problem is to update dependencies (cargo update like Rust compiler says) - after that Omikuji gets installed OK.

Documenting another way how to work around this issue (suggested by Anthropic Claude) – downgrading Rust:

# Install Rust 1.79 (last version before the breaking change)
rustup install 1.79.0
rustup default 1.79.0

# Install omikuji again
pip install --no-binary :all: omikuji
