Cache issues?

I'm glad to hear that you're back at it. I'm having "trust issues" with v 13.1 on MacOS in that sometimes the app doesn't 'see' new files in the output folder. This was happening with the previous version as well. So I have to Clear All Cache now and then to get it to update. Also the issue with file names being partially covered by the thumbnails below is still there.

Requests:
I think it would be handy if we could also browse the Input folder (separately). Then I could say goodbye to Adobe Bridge.
I may have mentioned before but it'd be great if the app worked with MacOS color tags system to some degree. I do like the simplicity of the Star style favorites in the app but would be nice to expand that to a Rating type thing where you could give it 1-5 rating or something.

Hi there! Sorry for the delay on responding the other issue.

I just checked the problem with the file name. When “Show File Names” is enabled, the grid was still reserving height for the thumbnail only, so the next row could visually cover the filename area.

I’ve now adjusted the grid/item sizing so the filename space is properly accounted for. This should prevent thumbnails from overlapping the labels below them, and the fix will be included in the next update!

I'll look into the cache issue now. What macOS version are you using? also, does the app eventually notice the file on its own or only after clearing cache? The manual refresh won't do anything?

Also I've been meaning to integrate the 1-5 stars eventually, so you can expect to see that soon!

Hi Lucas, Re: Cache, I’m running Tahoe 26.31 (a) at the moment. There’s a manual refresh? Nearest I found was the Clear All Cache. I don’t think the app notices new files eventually but I’ll keep a closer eye on that. BTW I really like how selecting Output shows everything in the subfolders as well. Very handy. Overall the app reminds of a great little image browser app from my Windows days called ThumbsPlus…I still haven’t found anything that good for Mac.
