postprocessing: future scenario example

In the example_processing directory, would it be possible to have an example that shows how to run a forward ensemble run with a future climate scenario for forecasting experiments?

Update - @lsmallma has kindly provided an example file, so I will have a go at tidying into a neat(ish) function 😄
