What it does
AudioThrottle optimizes the client-side audio engine by dynamically throttling sound channels. This stops audio lag and prevents the game from crashing when a ton of sounds go off at the same time (for example farms, redstone contraptions etc.)
Why should it be in the modpack
It actively prevents audio-related game crashes and cuts down on annoying micro-stutters that happen when a ton of sounds trigger at once. It directly improves client stability and smooths out performance in situations where the game usually chokes, making the overall experience a lot more stable.
Why shouldn't it be in the modpack
It’s a pretty niche optimization, so the average player who doesn't build massive, noisy farms or join massive servers might not even notice a difference.
